Tom Glavine

​​Tom Glavine pitched 22 years in the majors (from 1987 to 2008) the first 16 with the Atlanta Braves and the next 5 years with the New York Mets before finishing his career back with Atlanta.  He won 305 games while losing only 203, with a 3.54 ERA.

Glavine was consistent and durable with at least 25 games started in 20 consecutive years. He started 682 games (12th all-time) and pitched 4413 innings (30th all-time) and had 2607 strikeouts (25th all time).  He won 20 games in 5 different seasons, including 3 years on a row from 1991 to 1993 and lead the NL in wins all 5 times.

Glavine won the NL Cy Young Award in 1991 and 1998, made the All-Star team 10 times.  He also started 35 games and pitched 218 innings in the postseason, and was the World Series MVP in 1995. Glavine was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014.
